About

I am a poet & translator born in Romania and based in London.

My poems have appeared in Poetry London, The Yale Review, The London Magazine, and elsewhere. I am currently working on my first collection, which has been supported by the Fieldnotes Development Grant Programme and the Prototype Development Programme; it includes an extended hybrid-genre sequence exploring grief, reproductive rights, and the name ‘Lewis’.

I’m a member of the 2024-25 Southbank New Poets Collective. In 2023, I won the Oxford Poetry Prize, and in 2024, the Patricia Eschen Prize for Poetry. I’m interested in the overlap between poetry & visual art, in collaboration, teaching and translation, in strangeness more generally.
